Bonus Overflow Survival Tips — January 2014Some places across the country have had snow lately that normally does not experience snow. If you manage property in an area prone to lots of snow, removing it frequently can be tiring and never-ending. Many city ordinances require property owners to keep sidewalks clear of snow or face fines. If you own a single-family rental, you can include snow removal in your lease as the resident’s responsibility — be clear about when and how it needs to be shoveled, and consider a small rent discount if the resident honors the agreement.
